Fediverse groups are a really useful way to discover posts on lots of interesting topics. They're really simple to use:
1. Follow a group
2. The group's posts will start showing up in your timeline
3. You can post to the group by mentioning it

in reply to Fedi.Tips • • •p.s. The main advantage Groups have over hashtags is that they federate much more effectively. Every post in a group is federated to everyone who follows that group, no matter which server on.
You can use hashtags and groups simultaneously by including both relevant tags and a relevant group mention in the same post, which lets you get the best of both worlds.
