@thibaultamartin The timing on this toot is spooky, I'm just in the middle of adding that functionality now! It'll be deployed in the next 10 mins.

Hey.. could you put your blog on your Mastodon profile. - Be cool to check it out - find out what its about.
in reply to abeorch

Opps - take that back - Its there but for some reason when I view your profile from my #Friendica server it doesn't display.
in reply to abeorch

@abeorch Hi! That's odd it's be on my profile, it's an extra field in Mastodon so guess Friendica doesn't pick those up.

I'm getting used to #odd - Saw you had a bit of health issue last year - so did I .. I feel like it effected me in weird ways. I wasn't working - but it definately feels like it led to burnout much later.

@abeorch Stuff like this has way more of an effect on mental health than I think we give credit! We get so focused on getting physically better that mental health is pushed to the side until arguably too late.

Very much agree.. I have been meaning to look at that book - The Body Keeps the Score - I think it works both ways - Metal <-> Physical - Sometimes its also the stop afterwards that causes your mind/body to push things back to the surface.

@abeorch I've made a start on it but it's very heavy going, it's also come under some scrutiny over the past few years which is in itself quite interesting and offersanother perspective. (michaelscheeringa.com/trauma-d…, josepheverettwil.substack.com/…).

Yes I was aware - I think their idea is that trauma causes actual physical changes in the body / mind - I don't think that you need to subscribe to that (I like the idea of evidence based medicine and I think their point is that there was no emprical way to evidence this idea) - for me it was rather that your body/mind does load/unload stress - In a metaphorical 'conservation of energy' kind of way.
